Sheer Khurma Recipe

We all love to enjoy the traditional events. There are many preparations and celebrations regarding to these events. Along with these we never forget how to add more flavor by our delicious and cultural food items. Sheer khurma is one of them, without these dishes our festivals are incomplete especially Eid!

Sheer Khurma is one of my favorite sweet dishes. As it is so rich and creamy with extra toppings like dates, almonds, raisins, and many kinds of nuts. I really want to try this recipe by myself. Last Sunday, I made it and you can’t believe that I just made it in 10 minutes, and it turned out so good. My whole family loved the texture and flavor of it. I can’t resist myself from sharing this recipe with you all. It’s my secret recipe. I hope you all will try this and make your festivals even more enjoyable!

Sheer Khurma

Sheer Khurma is one of my favorite sweet dishes. As it is so rich and creamy with extra toppings like dates, almonds, raisins, and many kinds of nuts.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Desi Ghee
  • 300 g Vermicelli
  • 2 cans Evaporated Milk
  • 2 kg Full Fat milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Tablespoons Cardamom Powder
  • Almonds, Raisins Any nuts according to your choice

Instructions

  • Firstly, take a heavy pan and add desi ghee in it. Then add vermicelli and roast it until a golden-brown color appears.
  • After this add the evaporated milk, along with it, pour the full fat milk
  • Now, mix it well until it starts to cook. Once it starts cooking add sugar in it and bring it to boil.
  • When it starts boiling, add cardamom powder, almonds, and raisins.
  • After this, turn off the stove and take it out in a serving bowl.
  • Your delicious Sheer Khurma is ready to enjoy!

Notes

The best tip of this recipe is to use evaporated milk. It’s a magical ingredient, with the help of it you can make this recipe in just 10 minutes!
