Shahi kulfi Ice-Cream

Summers are here and it’s time to dive into the goodness of some delicious cold delicacies. However, this year the scenario is different, the deadly pandemic has ruined all our summer plans. So for that KULFA is the best solution to make our summers enjoyable because we try it in different variations and flavors at home to satiate our sweet cravings. It seems like a distant dream!

It’s very simple but we all spent our childhood relishing this delicious popsicle. So, that’s why I tried it in many variations like, Kofi males for my kids and Falooda. My family and kids really like this because whenever we get bored with our busy routines, we thought about it. And there is not any age restriction we all enjoy this in many flavors. So, I tried to make it in different flavors than before, and everyone fall for it and that’s the beauty of this dessert. I hope you all try this recipe to make your life happier and enjoyable

Shahi Kulfa Ice-Cream

KULFA is the best solution to make our summers enjoyable because we try it in different variations and flavors at home to satiate our sweet cravings

Ingredients

  • 1 Liter Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoons Cardamom Powder
  • 1/2 cup Almonds and Pistachios
  • 1 cup Whipping cream or tetra pack cream

Instructions

  • In a large heavy pan pour full fat milk and bring it to boil still occasionally, so it does not stick to the bottom of pan.
  • When the milk started boiling, add sugar and cardamom powder,
    crushed almonds and pistachios.
  • Cook on low heat until mixture started thickens slightly about half an hour. It should remain 1/3 in quantity.
  • Let the mixture come to the room temperature, it takes almost 1 hour.
  •  When mixture is cooled completely, start whipping the cream until soft peaks come it takes almost 3-4 minutes
  •  Then add milk mixture and whip for two more minutes.
  • Now take an airtight container and put the mixture
  • Tied it with cling film or parchment paper, it will prevent the process of  crystallization in your ice cream
  • After freezing for 8 hours, scoop out and enjoy!

Notes

  • If the ice cream is too hard in your freezer before you serve it just  put it in the fridge for around 15 mintues.
