Meringue Cookies

Meringue cookies are the wonderful treat for your tummy as they are yummy, soft and delightful. These cookies are something different from the regular cookies. The name of these cookies might be difficult but they are very easy to make. Those who are fond of cooking and have a great affection for baking are going to love this. It’s something new from the recipe book and can be made anytime. Try them with hot chocolate or tea and you will have the time of your life. 

I have been making these cookies for a long time now. I enjoy them with my folks mostly on Sundays with the evening tea. They all love the cookies I made. I would say no one skips the evening tea on Sunday only because of my cookies. And I am pretty sure you will be praised too when you will try these at your home. Happy family happy Me!!

Meringue Cookies

Meringue cookies are the wonderful treat for your tummy as they are yummy, soft and delightful. These cookies are something different from the regular cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 White eggs
  • 1 tbsp lemon
  • 8 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanila essence
  • Food colors of your choice

Instructions

  • Firstly, add three egg whites in the bowl and beat them to the fullest then add lemon juice or you can use cream of tartar if it is not available.  
  • In the next step add sugar 1 teaspoon one by one and keep beating for 4 minutes. Make sure you don’t feel the sugar.
  • Then add vanilla essence in it and beat further for 3 minutes.
  • Afterwards you have to put food color in it; color can be of your choice.
  • Make sure to mix the color quickly. Finally pipe it make cookies of any shape
  • Then bake them for 50 to 60 minutes at 110 degrees.

Notes

  • Clean everything with vinegar to have desired result.
  • Carefully separate the egg white because we don’t want the egg yolk at all.
  • Add sugar gradually one teaspoon at a time.
  • While adding the color, quickly mix it up and don’t deflate the eggs
  • Bake these cookies on low heat temperature and make sure to cool them in the oven for at least 2 hours after they are baked
