Bread Bombs

Bread bombs! When we hear it, something new and unique comes to our mind. Bread bombs are the most lovable fried bread which is served as starters. People all over the world always want to try something new and in Ramadan Muslims prefer to innovative things. They spent all of their day fasting and at the aftar time they crave for delicious foods. A very simple recipe with almost every ingredient in your home, bread bombs are the best choice. It is economical as well. You are not bound to eat it only in Ramadan, you can have it any time of day, week or year.

I am food lover and most importantly I love cooking. I try new things almost all the time to make my family happy. In this way I got a chance to enhance my skills in cooking. Bread bombs was the dish I tried in Ramadan at aftar party. Everyone in the party totally loved these toothsome and scrumptious bread bombs. Unique like its name, the flavour is also savoury I would highly recommend you guys to try it…!! The recipe of this palatable bread bombs is given below:

BREAD BOMBS

Ingredients

  • 250 g Boiled mashed potatoes      
  • 250 g Boiled chicken   
  • 1 pc Red bell pepper 
  • 100 mg  Cheddar cheese
  • 2 stems Spring onions
  • as required  Bread slices
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • to fry Oil

Instructions

  • ·        Take boiled mashed potatoes in a bowl
  • ·        Add cheddar cheese and shredded boiled chicken.
  • ·        Mix it well and then add red pepper and green onions.
  • ·        Add salt and black pepper according to the taste.
  • ·        Use 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup is added too.
  • ·        Cut the edges of bread slices.
  • ·        Dip the slice in the water and squeeze it.
  • ·        Fill it with the filling and squeeze it to remove the water.
  • ·        At last shape it in the form of bombs.
  • ·        Fry in the oil at the medium flame until they are brown.

Notes

  • You can also use mozzarella cheese in place of cheddar.
  • White bread can also replace the brown bread.
  • Bread edges can be used to make bread crumbs.
  • Squeeze all the water from the bread.
  • You can also freeze them for later use.
